They didn't give me oxygen at the ER. I am going to ask my neurologist to hook me up with a scrip for oxygen. i remember at the hospital years ago they gave me oxygen. i dont go to the hospital unless i have to.

thanks for the advice. i have been reading peoples stuff on here for hours. a lot of which say oxygen helps. tomorrow is another day.
   thanks again.

i never had this opportunity to find ways to get the cluster to stop. once the eye feels like its swelled shut and my neck is so tight. i cant scream cuz the babies are sleeping.

all i need is oxygen i will be able to function again?

haha i hope so. i have a cluster as i sit here typing only what i call a 5 but if i fall asleep now....
would oxygen help at this point?

Yes I bet O2 would help at that point.

Make sure you administer it a la the oxygen info here Multimedia File Viewing and Clickable Links are available for Registered Members only!!  You need to Login or Register if you want have it be most effective (and I'm sure you do!!!).

You can abort so many of these hits, even the raging night time terrors, and there are other very effective abortives besides O2, although O2 is really popular here, especially since it offers no side effects.

You may be well aware by now that Imitrex is probably the most well known and commonly used abortive med, though not without possible side effects, and expensive. Personally if I have O2 at the ready, plus imitrex injections for the huge whoppers that O2 can't dispatch, I can abort every single hit. Which is miraculous of course.

CH according to Bejeeber:

Strictly relying on doctors for CH treatment is often a prescription that will keep you in a whole lot of PAIN. Doctors are WAY behind in many respects, and they are usually completely unaware of the benefits of high flow 100% O2.

There are lots of effective treatments documented at this site. Take matters into your own hands, learn as much as you can here and at clusterbusters.com, put it into practice, then tell this CH beast Jeebs said hello right before you bash him so hard with a swift uppercut knockout punch that his stupid horns go flinging right off.

That's a good thing IMO, so many of us know from experience just where you're coming from, no reason to sugarcoat it around here.

This headache is building fast. still only a 6 on my pain scale....
thanks for the info.
i wonder why when i get the really bad ones i rock back and forth? i go hide from the wife when it gets like that. i hope the oxygen machine my aunt offered me will work.

i would rather be getting a tattoo on my manhood than deal with what my night will consist of.

i really am glad you all are here!
