I did too.

I think it's a great site and an easy way to let our military know that we appreciate their service.

Let's keep bumping this thread up.  Maybe more will join in.

Thank you for your support of this thread/idea Don, Sandy, & Marc.  Cool
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Thank you to all the U.S. military personnel stationed overseas.
Showing our support and appreciation for their service to our
country hopefully lessens the burden of being away from their
family during the holidays [& otherwise].
All of my large family is "troop supportive", some of us are constantly donating time and money to several org's that help our troops.
I have two nephews in the military: One in Iraq and the other currently in rehab after earning his second Purple Heart in Afghanistan. He's got a few surgeries left to keep digging out the frags, but he wants to get back to leading his men ASAP.
You can bet that I made time to forward your link to people that I know who care.
You can also bet that this family has used the link. My grandson took it to school last week to share with his class, and it is now a full-blown project for them.
Still and all, I want each and every one of them home safe now!
Another place that is a worthy note is Multimedia File Viewing and Clickable Links are available for Registered Members only!!  You need to Login or Register; They are a non profit organization.  They collect, process, package, and send hundreds of thousands of care boxes each year to Marines over seas.  They send post cards and letters to injured Marines.  They run a support website similar to this one that lets MOMs and Dads, and spouses, etc. follow the career of the soldier from bootcamp to his MOS schooling, to his PDS to overseas and back. There is so much more they do. Please check them out.  They can always use volonteers to monitor the boards, help with the care packageing, finantial donations, etc.
