Reply #7 - Nov 24^th, 2009 at 12:21am A trio of them look to be from Greek mythology. Artemis, huntress and goddess of the moon; Echo, disappeared except for her voice; Morpheus, god of dreams. But there's a Frodo in there, too. Obscure other Greek mythology for this bearer of the brood: Momus - Greek god of ridicule.

Reply #9 - Nov 24^th, 2009 at 8:02am Sarah was telling me about some of the kids she'd heard about in South Korea. They take American names. One kid was named Spot. Another kid took the name Obama. When the teacher told him that name was not American, an argument ensued, with the kid saying that since he was the president, that it was an American name!
