My name is Sam, I am 45 years old and have been plauged with sinus problems for years.  I have endured two very painful sinus surguries which have helped matters some.  Over the past 5-6 years I will get a massive headache, usually located at the base of my skull at the front of my skull between my eyes.
     Most of the time they are more severe then ANY hangover I have ever had, worse then So-Ju or Everclear hangovers.  I have had some come on so suddenly that I have actually dropped to my knees because the pain is so severe.
      My last really severe attack came in late Aug and I gutted it out all day at work.  Whenever the pain would come on I would spray several good blasts of Sinusbuster up my nostrils and that would help with the pain for a short period of time.
     This Wed I have a follow up app with my ENT doc and will bring up this problem with him.  I had a VERY nasty sinus infection that lasted over 2 months. 
       I was reading some of the posts here and was interested with the referrence to drinking water.  On an average day I will drink 2-3 Naglene bottles of water, rarely do I drink soda's although I do drink quite a bit of coffee. 
       After reading many of the posts here I can not pin down any specific "triggers", usually if I get one they occur early in the AM and can last most of the day.  I look forward to getting more info from this site.

Let me clarify the two surguries I had, the first was a de-calcification process to open up the passages behind my eyes, the second was a "rotor-rooter" like process to open up my sinus cavities.  I would get a sinus infection and it would last for several months.  After the second surgury when I get one it usually gets cleared up within a few weeks.
     The reason I was thinking CH's is when I get these horrific headaches I do not have any sensitivity to light and usually do not get any neusea either.  I have a follow up Wed with my ENT doc and will discuss these horrible headaches with him.
