LSD
Nov 30th, 2009 at 6:36am

Three years ago, for those who remember, I went cold turkey on all my meds. The imitrex, verapamil and ergot.

The Clusterbusters guided me through the alternative therapies and kept in touch to address the different dosages.

My clusters increased on the alternative therapy, I had Kip 8 to 10's sometimes 6 to 12 times a day.  The thing is, these buddies stuck by me and then after I thought that there is no hope anymore, a BREAKTHROUGH!

A few weeks of hell and suddenly after the last scary LSD dosage and a trip to the other side of midnight, that felt like it would last for ever, the Demon left!

I was scared sh*tless because:
Did it work?
Did my cycle just end naturally?
When will it come back?
May I sleep?
Can I say anything about it yet?

So, I waited and waited and waited.  Two years passed, I came back to the site.  Cryptically I explained.

I have waited another year, just to confirm.  My clusters are gone, after all those years of no hope, of no life, of constant battles, fear and pain and tons of medication, I am alive!

I don't care anymore.  They can lock me up for all I care, actually admitting this on a public forum but alternative treatments should become legal.  Yes, under a doctors supervision.  This will prevent us from acting like criminals to get help and allow those who want to try it to go through the experience in a controlled environment.

The day we can get booked in hospital, get the bloody treatment and go home like with any other disease, would be a victory in my book.

There is hope.

Cheers Jazz

Hi, Jasmyn - Welcome back. And congratulations. What a feeling.

Dr. Halpern is currently working on a compound called 2-Bromo LSD (or BOL). It is LSD with a bromine atom attached that renders it non-hallucinogenic but still does the same thing you describe. I hope and pray it (and he) will be our guiding light out of the woods. Since it is non-hallucinogenic, we're all hoping it will be on the fast track to FDA approval.

Great news!  Thanx so much for passing it along.  It gives the rest of us hope.  Really hoping Dr Halpern is able to get things fast tracked and funded.

Thanks Jasmyn.   I can relate to your story.  I am in month 5 of my cycle, and have never had more than 3 months cycle before....
I am with seeds in hand, and have not dared to take the leap of faith, and wean myself off the meds.
You give me some hope and strength. Smiley

Seeds even in number 100 taken at once, wouldn't create hallucinations, only you would feel nauseous.

The point I was trying to make is that a non-hallucinogenic form would have a much higher chance of being approved by the FDA (Food and Drug Administration). That's how drugs become available via prescription over here - they have to be FDA-approved first.

I tend to disagree......take enough of them and you'll feel something other than sick.

Everybody and every batch is different.  I've taken 30 and felt a slight body buzz and at another time took 80 and felt nothing, but nauseous.   I've never ever tripped from them.  Shrooms on the other hand, heck yeah, but that was recreationally years ago.

I am no specialist but what is average containing of LSA in each seed? And what part of one average shroom is it in potency scale? This way you can do average calculation, but probably seed potency has wide range of LSA, can be none, or can be really a lot average of normal 5 seeds.

Jasmyn, so happy you have been PF this long. I really hope it was the LSD that ended your pain. This is something I am interested in trying someday.
I did LSD back when I was, well, let's say much younger, and wonder now if it kept the CH's from nailing me at a younger age as I was in my early forties before I got CH's. Huh
Just a thought.
PF wishes forever Jasmyn!

With all the posts regarding LSD, shrooms, and RC seeds, I'm wondering about the lack of posts of peoples experience using baby wood rose seeds.  I can recall several trips using ground up and capped HBWR seeds in the early 70's that rivaled LSD so I assume they must contain a significant amount of LSA like RC seeds and I know that they are also offered on iamshaman.

Not to sidetrack Jazz's post any further, but.......

Denny - HBWR seeds were too much work for me. The LSA is in the seed pod inside and the stuff that makes you feel sick is the outer hull. I used to slice them open and pry out the center nut.

With RC Seeds, I just grind, soak and drink the sludge.

FWIW - I've tried up to 20 HBWR seeds and well over 100 RC's and never felt anything but a bit sleepy.

Thanks guys for the well wishes.

The thing is, as you remember and for those who don't know me, I lived in Mozambique, Africa at the time.

It is easier to experiment and get "stuff" in a third world country.

I was actually on LSD from the Netherlands(the purest stuff) and overdosed on the last trip (If you can ever overdose on LSD!?)

The thing is that I was not a responsible adult due to the extreme hits I got.  Actually I was quite out of my mind with pain and desperation that night.

btw.  I am mostly out of my mind but that is besides the point.  LOL

The contributing factor was that I had nearly a bottle of clean Vodka on top of that trip.

I do not condone my actions but I need to explain:

I cannot drink a drop of alcohol during a cycle.
I am not a drug addict as I love to be in control.
I hated the trips because I couldn't make them stop, they had to run their course.
This is scary if you are doing this alone.
You cannot get hooked on LSD, as I used it for a few weeks and have never done it again, and I have an addictive personality as I cannot stop smoking after many attempts.  But I never had a craving for it since.

The whole argument is, even if it is LSA or LSD, it should be legal and supervised.  I believe every person with clusters will need different dosages to alter the brain chemistry to halt this disease.

I was late teens, early 20's when I was doing Mushrooms, LSD and pot for recreational use. It was fairly plentiful and of good quality and it was what our group of friends were into. I am 50 now.
I never had a headache in my life of any kind until I got into my 30's then I developed migraines, "the pulse till you puke headache" I called them.
Then when I got into my early 40's the migraines just left and then a new pain surfaced, which my neuro diagnosed them being CH's.
I am just wondering if the Mushrooms and LSD altered my CH cycle when I was younger? I was able to track down some s'rooms last summer and did 3 separate doses and although the shadows are daily and some entering low level hits I still am not in cycle and this is past my time, I should be getting labeled right now.
I really have faith that there is a drug of some kind that will stop the cycle, maybe for good and maybe the 2-Bromo LSD might just be the ticket.
Anybody else with a similar experience? Jasmyn's story on her success sure has my attention right now and wishing her and everyone PF wishes forever.

Congrats, Jasmyn, a wonderful story you have there - one which in my opinion should help keep us all chanting BOL! BOL! BOL!

The CH killing benefits of LSD without the tripping? I'll take it.  Cool

CH according to Bejeeber:

Strictly relying on doctors for CH treatment is often a prescription that will keep you in a whole lot of PAIN. Doctors are WAY behind in many respects, and they are usually completely unaware of the benefits of high flow 100% O2.

There are lots of effective treatments documented at this site. Take matters into your own hands, learn as much as you can here and at clusterbusters.com, put it into practice, then tell this CH beast Jeebs said hello right before you bash him so hard with a swift uppercut knockout punch that his stupid horns go flinging right off.
