Hello everyone.  CH's for 25 years, I seem to be having good luck with the psilocybin therapy I have been on for over a year now.  Only one headache and it was my inattention that caused it.  But, my real point is the last place I would want to be is in a hospital under scientific observation during LSD or Mushroom therapy.  I never did drugs as a teenager and only started in my forties as a response to my CH's.  Come to find out all of my friends have done some pretty heavy trippin' 'back in the day' at various jam band concerts or the beach or whatever.  It has been my recent experience, after reading every website and book I could find on the subject, that mushrooms can be a great experience, way beyond just medicine.  Initially all I cared about was the medicine and that is still my primary concern, but as long as you are experiencing the world with a different perspective, why not enjoy the ride.  Find a nice place to do it, be careful with the dose and have a babysitter or watcher to make sure you are safe for the hours of experience.

Like I said, I would never have tried them if I didn't have CH's. and I have not done LSD and don't intend to unless needed which I don't think I will.  There are many books on the medicinal and shamanic uses of phsycoactive plants in indigenous cultures which are very interesting too.  I am super careful and my guess is that there are people you may know that could help you safely experiment with these plants to see if they could work.

I am definitely NOT recommending this to the general public.  But for the people (us) who spend their nights in cold showers, squeezing their heads, sucking oxygen, taking prescription meds.... pshycoactive plants/fungi seem easier, if they work for you.  Good luck!

p.s. in my anecdotal research i seem to be the only one i know who didn't take mushrooms in high school Sad .

I tried the Morning glory seeds first and felt nothing at all, then I ordered the wood rose seeds and I am not sure if I did it wrong or what but I have never been sicker and at one point actually thought I might die but then got very sick and finally started to feel better, I will never do that again for sure not saying you shouldn’t but be careful and be sure to know what you are doing and do it right. I did try shrooms and it seemed to help but I was only able to find enough for one dose and have yet to be able to find more but would try it again. I think if you can find LSD it would probably be the best way to go but again no idea how to find it, wish I did because I would try it in a heartbeat.

The tusk on HWR is nasty and makes everybody feel sick.  You're suppose to open and use the pulp inside.  I only use rc seeds.  You feel nothing and they work.  That's the point.  Why feel an acid trip unless you want to feel that?  Those Morning Glories probably are fine.  The goal for me is to get the effect of how LSA works against the CH.  Without having that acid buzz, it's great.  I can't handle trips anymore like I did in college.  Someday the Bromo-LSD will be available.

When the PAIN starts, I FIGHT back!

Rivea Corymbosa seeds were my KO punch, now D3 is the front runner!

I was late teens, early 20's when I was doing Mushrooms, LSD and pot for recreational use. It was fairly plentiful and of good quality and it was what our group of friends were into. I am 50 now.
I never had a headache in my life of any kind until I got into my 30's then I developed migraines, "the pulse till you puke headache" I called them.
Then when I got into my early 40's the migraines just left and then a new pain surfaced, which my neuro diagnosed them being CH's.
I am just wondering if the Mushrooms and LSD altered my CH cycle when I was younger? I was able to track down some s'rooms last summer and did 3 separate doses and although the shadows are daily and some entering low level hits I still am not in cycle and this is past my time, I should be getting labeled right now.
I really have faith that there is a drug of some kind that will stop the cycle, maybe for good and maybe the 2-Bromo LSD might just be the ticket.
Anybody else with a similar experience? Jasmyn's story on her success sure has my attention right now and wishing her and everyone PF wishes forever.

Hey Barry, I had some similar experiences.  I used to get migraines every now and then starting when I was a young kid.  When I was in my teens I did quite a bit of LSD (among other things).  I do remember once getting a "migraine" while on an acid trip, but if I did get them back then they were always one-offs.  I stopped doing all drugs and drinking when I was 17 and got my first CH cycle about a year later.  Been getting hit with a cycle every 24 month or so since then.

Right now I manage my cycles with a combination of prednisone, verapamil, O2, and Trex.  Interestingly, when I was first officially diagnosed while in college the Dr prescribed Sansert (which I used as my preventative for about 15 years) and I would always notice the feeling of a mild "trip" during the first day or so of taking it.  I'm not especially anxious to dose or use seeds, but have to admit that the success stories are quite compelling.

Anyway, just wanted to offer some more anecdotal evidence that LSD might have altered or delayed my cycles starting when I was a teenager.
