The mix up in hits is actually an indication that you have shaken the Beast's tree.  Please don't give up now.

Trex after dosing will set the process back.  Hit some Red Bull instead.

Many folks have reported increased activity after doseing, so this is not unusual.  Personally my worst was day 3 after a dose, but as we already know everyone is different.

Please don't give up on yourself.

Also...don't be afraid to dose again tomorrow night.

Re-reading your post tells me that you probably have the 3 day thing going on too.  Keep hitting  back every three days.

I've read that it can take 4 or 5 or 6 doses while in cycle to bitch-slap the beast into submission. Hang in there, Boo! You're braver than I am.

Bill is right, it can take a few doses to really cage the beast, but I can tell you first hand, that it's well worth it. 

I didn't have a choice when I went down this road.  It took some doing, and a firm commitment to staying the course, but I'm proof that it can give you your life back.  Notsienfeld, has had great success with this too and he used the method I do.  He too was chronic, and when O2 quit working for him, he got in touch with me. 
He's now over a year PF.

Look at it this way - You and I are both in cycle right now. You have chosen the path that promises a radically positive outcome (compared to what we're all used to). In the meantime, your life goes on and you are doing the best you can to meet each of those challenges.

I, on the other hand, am gulping down 480mg of verapamil, 900mg of lithium, and 1-2 doses of whatever triptan I have on hand every day. And I still get 3-6 breakthrough headaches each day (not skull f*ckers, but enough to make me stop what I'm doing and hit the gas). I have to be able to count on a certain level of functionality due to the fact that between now and Dec. 24, it is peak season at my company.

Brew hon, is DHE an option for you right now? I know it's available in injections as opposed to just infusions and I know you've had benefit from it before.. just thinking and trying to ease things for you (HUG)

All of you take time out from your own suffering to support me.  I have had such an easy road, comparatively speaking.  I thank you from the bottom of my heart, for being here for me.   I will do my best to be here for all of you as well. You all really are an inspiration to me.

I'm doing much better right now.  I was even able to sleep for a couple of hours.  It has been a very long time since I had to ride out a hit with no abortive. I don't think I have ever had such a long series of hits back to back like that, with not much break time in-between.  I'm afraid that the beast got the best of me.



Brew, I know that you are actually wishing that you were in my shoes right now.  I'm sorry that you are still so far from detoxing.  You have been fighting the beast for so long this cycle but are still always ready to offer a word of support or even a kick in the ass when I or someone else needs it.  Like most of the other people here, I never hear you whining or complaining.  You face each day as it comes and do what you have to do to work and be a father and a husband ... That is being brave.

Thanks for the read on seeds... I ran a fairly decent search, since at the time I had no idea what rc seeds were. I do now..

It will be interesting to see if the seeds truely break the cycle. I hope so, but for the time being i don't see seeds and much else breaking my cycles.

There is no trains for miles around here, but I swear 2 ran me down in bed last night.

Well time to go polish my armor and sharpen the sword....

I slept through the entire night last night!!!!! ( well except to hit the bathroom)  The shadows are very minimal today.   

I have called the Ryan Headache Clinic.  The receptionist asked if I was calling to make an appt for migraines.  When I said that my problem was Clusters, she put me on hold for a nurse who screened me and got me in next week.  I will be getting my 02 then!  I have screwed around this long and not gotten it.  I will not be a moron any more!

I'm wondering if I should tell the Dr. that I am going the seeds route?

I'm just now seeing this.  Glad you got a good nights sleep!

The Ryan Headache Clinic will fix you up.  Your life will change for the better once you have 02.  When I was there last, the Dr. wasn't a fan of alternative treatments.  You may want to mention all the studies that are going on and see what the Dr's reaction is.

You are stronger than you give yourself credit for.  Keep on fighting.  Never give up.
