Little assistance from Migraine sufferers please
Dec 16th, 2009 at 4:20pm

Hey
I am telcom/it sales.  I was asked by a customer to find a solution for an employee where he works who suffers from migraines.  This person needs a phone headset that is more suitable for migraine sufferers.  Recommendations from the national headache foundation says to use speakerphone instead.  THis person works in a call center where that is not possible.  ANy of you out their with suggestions would be appreciated.  Thanks

Most migraine folks (and I was one of them for about 50 years) can't bear to have anything around their heads - ear muffs, hats, headband, headsets!  Feels like a damned vise grip.

I wonder if anyone has invented a headset that comes around the back of your neck instead of ear to ear across your head.

Good Luck trying to find something.

Hey kev. I've had migraines since I was 10ish so I know the feeling he's having. Some times my hair is even to heavy and tiny stud earrings are to big when I'm hurting. But I just got a headset that I love. It's a Rocketfish mobile QX5. I barely feel it, even during a migraine, and the sound is great. It hooks around your right ear, super light, and is easy to use. Hope this helps.
