Does anyone have experience taking treximet?  It's basically a combination drug containing imitrex and aleve.  Is it more effective than taking imitex alone?

For me, yes. I tried imitrex 1st, and it helped the first 2 times, then the rebound HA's came. I've been on Trixamet since Nov 18. This cycle, it's been working.

During my last cycle I took Treximit right at the onset, but only at night. It did get rid of the ch within minutes but with me if I took more than one a day the ch's seemed to be worse (more intense). I started relying on the O2 more and it worked better for me.
I'm not knocking Imitrex or Trexamit in any way, if it works for you GREAT!! Take it. It's just another weapon to fight the beast with.

The consensus here is that the pill form of Imitrex is too slow acting for most CH attacks. But the individual's response is the final judge!

The pain med in this product is not of value for CH.
