HOpe everyone had a Great Christmas...

Happy Day After Christmas... According to MY calendar it's National Gift Exchange Day today...  Smiley Hope not too many of you are celebrating that one...

I had a really nice Christmas. Had my kids here and a lot of good friends. Heard from lots of people I love and that's what it's all about. We laughed a lot and that made it really good.

Went to my in-laws Christmas day and we had a 2 year old great-great nephew helping my new grandson open his gifts. It got totally hillarious. Ya know all those "childproof" things they tie things in boxes with? Well I was putting the 2 year old up to getting a 50 year old nephew to get the toys out of the boxes (he deserved it). Everytime Kyler would open something that needed to be "dis-intangled" dear old GrannyB would tell him, "Take it to Bubba and get him to "open" it." and he'd run to Bubba and yell, "Open Bubba!" So when we got home with all Chase's toys they were all opened! Wink Bubba has grown kids and we're all still getting even with him for when he was little - he was THAT bad as a child!  Roll Eyes and NO ONE in the family has let him forget it.

All in all I had a great Christmas and hope each of you had the same.

Luv you all... BD Kiss

Happy St. Stephens day or boxing day as we know it over here. We spent it this year at Marie's parents house on a snow covered mountain with no broadband cover so I couldn't wish anybody a happy Christmas till now .

The kids had a blast especially my little girl who is 4 and had a better understanding of the whole Santa gig this year. Had to get my car towed of the mountain this morning by the wife's brothers on a huge tractor who think us Townies haven't a clue. I suppose there's a use for hill-billies after all..

Merry Christmas folks and a happy New year....!

I'm glad that you had a great Christmas, Barb. Smiley

I had a great one, too. And I got that one gift I was hoping: my boyfriend Esa spent most of the Christmas Eve with me. Smiley

Every Christmas Eve my mother's youngest sister and her two daughters with their partners come to my mom's house. This year, there was 8 of us and we had a great time.

On Christmas Day, everybody goes to my aunt's house and there were some more quests as well, my cousin's future in-laws and a Chinese girl, who was my aunt's friend's wife's niece and visiting Finland.

And on 26th, I joined Esa for a family visit: we went to his childhood home and met his mother, the to his brother's house and then met my friend who was in Finland for few days' Christmas Holiday (she lives and works in Moscow). That was a busy, but nice day.

And 27th was my holiday day, nothing special to do and simply just relaxig before heading back to work for few days at 28th. Smiley

This year I visited more people than usually and read less books than usually, but who cares - I can read my Christmas present books anyday.
This was a good Christmas and the first I got to spend with Esa. Smiley

We spent Christmas Eve night with my side of the family.  We went to a Buffett where it is all you can eat and Dad bought for everyone.  Got to see my Grandson for 5 hours!  We had fun.

Christmas day my sons stove broke so his family crashed our christmas party and fun was had by all.  We had lasagna for lunch.  mmm.  Got to see my Granddaughter for a few hours!

Day after Christmas we went to my neuphews house and celebrated with Teds side of the family.  There were over 60 people there.  10 kids, of 36 grandkids many came with there spouses and children, and great grandkids, aunts and uncles, etc.  Fun was had by all.  Lots of euchre (cards), catching up, eating, etc.

Hope you all had a Merry Christmas as well.
