Botox ... ?!??!
Dec 27th, 2009 at 11:16am

I haven't been here in awhile, and I tried searching for a topic about botox but i didn't find any. If this has already been brought up, I'm sorry.

A couple months ago my grandmother saw a news report about people using botox injections in their foreheads to get rid of CH and Migraines... Has anyone heard about this? I looked it up and it seemed pretty effective... I was just wondering if anyone has tried it or heard about it. Thanks !

my neurologist recomended botox for me.  It got rid of my 8+ migraines a month no problem.  I would highly recomend it for migraines.  However, it did nothing for my chronic ch.  Nada zip I would NOT recomend it based on my experience for ch.  One thing my neuro told me is that it may take two or three applications before I see any results.  I saw results immediatly for migraines.

My son Michael had a series of Botox injections in his forehead as recommended for treatment of his chronic CH. They were VERY expensive and for him, totally useless. Could have bought a lifetime's supply of oxygen with a demand-valve and the very best available mask - and outfitted a world-class home mushroom growing operation - for the cost!
