Has clusters been determined and what have they prescribed or done?  Any referral to a neuro or scans?

Hey Shane-O,

I bet there's a good chance that you'll find valuable info here to help - significantly even - with your CH.

That has certainly been my experience, and same for a lot of others.

Glad ya came to the right place.  Smiley

What treatments have you tried so far?

CH according to Bejeeber:

Strictly relying on doctors for CH treatment is often a prescription that will keep you in a whole lot of PAIN. Doctors are WAY behind in many respects, and they are usually completely unaware of the benefits of high flow 100% O2.

There are lots of effective treatments documented at this site. Take matters into your own hands, learn as much as you can here and at clusterbusters.com, put it into practice, then tell this CH beast Jeebs said hello right before you bash him so hard with a swift uppercut knockout punch that his stupid horns go flinging right off.

Hello and Welcome,

Let me be the 1st to tell you. Get your doctor tuned into clusters, and start by telling him to give you OXYGEN 15 Lpm.

Welcome to the board, when you get a chance, give us a little info. What meds have you tried, what has and hasn't worked, when were you diagnosed? The strength of this board is the combined experience of 10,000 CH sufferers and their supporters. We don't do diagnosis or prescribe meds, but we can probably point you in a good direction to alleviate some pain.

So pull up a seat, tell us a little about yourself! Wink

welcome from another new to the site CHer,
First thing I do when a new cycle starts, is get on a prednisone taper!!
I started my latest about 2 weeks ago, and instead of 6-8 bad hits a day/ nite, there has been only a few slip through.
BUT!!! I ended up taking too much of it and not tapering as I shouldhave... Much scolding from everyone on the site and of course they are right, I'm in line with it now... so if you decice to do the pred, taper as prescribed... the more experienced folks will tell you about many other tratments... You'll see shortly that there;s light at the end of this tunnel
Good luck
