Happy New Years From Las Vegas!
Jan 1st, 2010 at 2:31am

We got here monday after a hellish flight but made it in one piece. Tuesday we partied on the old Fremont strip at the Golden Nugget, 4 Queens and several other places. Had a blast.
Last night we hung out here at the Grandview with a fellow WBRN DJ, The Artist D.

Tonight was THE big party night. We made it down to the main strip with Mandalay Bay, Exaclibur and tons of casinos, with fireworks at midnight.
By 7:30, my right leg started giving out and I was in so much pain, we wound up just coming back here to the room. I feel terrible, since I know Jeff was looking forward to a few events, but he saw how much pain I am in and so he opted to come back here
Embarrassed

I started to get hit shortly before we left, so I did a 70 seed dose of RC before taking off. Since we've been here, I had to break down and use the Frova, as I have been slammed several times since we got to Vegas. Luckily, Jeff has been here for me through it all. I HATE for him to see me like this, but he has been a great comfort when I come out of it. Today I got hit, he went and got my ice, and just laid next to me until it was over.
So, it's close to midnight here in Vegas, so we are going downstairs to the South Point casino to ring in the new year, and come back to the room since we leave in the morning to head back home.

This has been both a great vacation, and a very painful one too. I'm just lucky that I have one of the best suppporters in my life who also has learned enough about CH, to try and understand it more. He also can tell when I am in alot of pain and though I tend to whine online, I do my best not to anymore.

In any case, it has been a rough week, and not looking forward to flying home tomorrow, but I miss my Zombie and I know he misses his daddy. I just hope he'll want to come home. He is staying at Jeff's sisters house with 4 other dogs and 2 cats, and the first day I was gone he whined alot, but the next day he warmed up to Jeff's sis, and he may see me and go "Oh, there you are. Can I stay here from now on?" LOL

So, tomorrow night I will be reunited with my o2, and in 5 days start over on the RC seeds.

I know I'll see some of you next month, but to all of you - HAPPY NEW YEARS! May it be the best decade for all of us, and my wish is that by 2020, there will be a cure for clusters.

Peace, Hope & Love,
Carl

PS - I love you all.  Wink
