Just got back to the hotel after a great dinner of prime rib with Lenny and I can safely say he's NOT an axe murderer.... He offered to be, but I told him if he wasn't one - he just wasn't one so forget it....   He's really a nice guy.

My plane was late getting to LA (ok so what ELSE is new!) and he was sitting outside the hotel smoking and had already picked up two women (one left and he picked up Jeanie). I thought she was with him and made some remark about him picking her up on the street (ya'll know my big mouth). Of course I was checking out his buns at the time...    I think I scared her off... can't for the life of me figure out why...

Anyhow we were NOT strangers for some reason and had a great night. My German son was already here and he was in the lobby so I didn't have to look far for him. We all had a great time and Lenny showed us LA and Hollywood from a "native" point of view. I could actually feel my credit card cringing on Rodeo Drive. They got stuff there that we don't have in Linden and Atlanta!

Anyhow LA is something and this time I actually got out of the airport! 

Now it's way past my bedtime so good night sweet children. Play nice now ya hear..

He came back for lunch today and still no axe....  

He had a question... When I got off the shuttle last night (he'd been waiting a while and watching a lot of people get off shuttles) How did he know I was ME and how did I know HE was him? The famous question --- how did we recognize each other??? I told him we'd been trying to figure that one out for years.

And Marc, he even said nice things about you...    I'll try to get Ben to upload the pic we had taken when he gets back from shopping...

Before the pic even gets posted, I'm going to say recognition (on a sub-conscious level) of the droopy eyelid on the affected side.

Hell Don, I told you THAT in CONFIDENCE!! Can't you keep your mouth shut about ANYTHING???
