Bloated feeling on Verapamil

I know that bloating and constipation are common side effects of verapamil, but was wondering if anyone has any remedies?  I'm usually as regular as a clock, and don't remember feeling this bloated in past cycles, just wondering if there is anything that helps?  Obviously I'll take feeling bloated over getting 4 hits a day, but if anyone has found relief I'd love to hear it.
