Is it really that time
Jan 8th, 2010 at 8:31pm

It’s that time of year when the fairy’s taken her final bow and the singing Santa’s had his batteries removed, carefully boxed and stored in the Christmas decoration cupboard.
Now some may feel a little tinge of sadness when whispering “see you next year” as you carefully close the door, but not me!!
It’s that time again for the sales and in particular…
D.I.Y sales
I’ve already been down to the cellar and looked in anticipation at my trusty tool collection, giving the old bevel edge a rub on the oil stone and a good root around my bits.
Ahh….  the sound of routing in the morning.
I have heard the local DIY stores got a bigger timber aisle this year, can’t wait to saunter down the planed and seasoned wood section.
As you can probably guess, it’s been a while and I’m suffering from post withdrawal symptoms.
I know it’s still gonna be a couple of weeks yet but it’s nice to look forward to something don’t you think.
Tape measure and pencil at the ready.

I got a compound miter saw for my birthday today - I'm right there with you!

(but no, you can't rub it around your "bits" . . . . )

Hey, at least you're *rooting around your bits* in the cellar and not on the street  Grin

I've missed you too, you make me laugh.

Only if he does it while he's in the cellar.
