A couple of you know I've been following this and have been working on trying to participate-

I have contacted 140hours, an online international art auction which benefits charitable organizations that join their program, to participate in the upcoming auction on Jan. 29th. Today they have put out a call to artists who are willing to donate 100% of any sales to Haitian relief. I am MORE than willing! I may not have a job right now, but I still have a home and a safe place to live, and my family is with me, and we are fed and warm.

I have submitted the painting, "Puttin' Up" to the auction and I hope that this will bring in a good bid to give to aid those in desperate need. (I'm still waiting to hear if my app has been received, but I'll let you know) If the painting is accepted for auction, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE post information on your page so that we can get as many potential bidders as possible!

I am so excited to be a part (hopefully!) of this international auction but even more, I am doubly excited to be able to do a small part to help out in any way I can.  I'll keep y'all posted on these events.  I've already posted this to .org, because it is so important that as many people as possible know and spread the word. This is a great way to not only purchase amazing art from artists around the world, but to support charities such as Haven Hospice, and also to help those who are suffering such devastating loss.
