Pretty acurate description of cluster headaches in the article.  It even mentioned 02.  Smiley

Give that reporter a gold star for at least doing some homework!  Pretty good article for a newsie.  The only thing I would basically disagree on is the smoking.  I may have to start so I can quit and get rid of my CH.

My father-in-law just stopped in and mentioned the news report to me.....then he told me to stop smoking.  Lips Sealed  He does that at least once a week anyway.

CH and O2 are making the press lately also.  A colleague in North Carolina sent me the article I've attached, which was published in their local paper last Fall.  Another colleague saw a similar article in a Westchester Cty, NY paper this past Sunday.

Another member posted a CNN story on CH, here:Multimedia File Viewing and Clickable Links are available for Registered Members only!!  You need to Login or Register

It's good to spread public awareness about CH, and benefits of O2.  I hope doctors are watching/reading/listening, as well as undiagnosed CH sufferers.

There was also an article in USA weekend this past Sunday.  It was pretty good (except for stating that clusters are a variation of migraines), talked about the recent study in JAMA about high flow oxygen.

Dr.  Todd Mitchell of the Dallas TX Cooper Clinic wrote the article.

Here's the link to the abbreviated article

LOL....I wouldn't do that because he isn't being obnoxious about it.  Plus, he would do anything in the world for me and my family.  I did say that I knew many people with ch that quit and still had it, so it's not a cure.

At least migraines weren't part of the comparison. Wonders never cease.

This year makes it 30 years since I quit smoking but.........My CH has been gone for 19....not that I have any complaints. As much as I hate smoking, it didn't seem to be any more of a cause than our other foibles. Correct me if I'm wrong.........what am I saying?

Quit though. It's worth it.

Thanks for posting this Jim. I usually watch KSDK at 10 but have missed it most of the week.
I would've pissed my pants had I been watching when the report came on.

She nailed it. Good job. That's why I like KSDK... but look to FOX for weather.

Peace,
Carl
