O2 and Migraines
Feb 10th, 2010 at 10:32am

Anyone have any info on O2 use with Migraines, either anecdotal or "offcial"?  I had a friend ask about using O2 for her migraines since it seems to be working for my clusters.  I hadn't heard anything about using it for migraines but then again I hadn't really looked.  The only info I could find involved a study using hyperbaric chambers for migraines.  I gues it was effective with them because they last so much longer than clusters.  Seems like it might work since the two share so much in common.

We get very few migrain discussions here, I haven't seen any official or even unofficial studies on it. Hell, tell them to try it. Who'd have ever thunk it'd be a fix for CH? Wink

We had a couple over one night when I was in cycle. She had a migraine when they arrived and it wasn't getting any better. I told her about the 02 and she went in and hooked up. After about 15 minutes she could tell no difference and shut it off. So it didn't do anything for her but thats just one person.

Well, I've tried it for my migraines and while it will ease one as long as I'm whuffing the O2, as soon as I put the mask down, I get hammered.  I believe Eric's (Edub) wife might have gotten some relief though.

It certainly won't hurt and who knows, it might help.
