I am an ex smokeless tobacco user........it was part of the whole agreeing to marry me almost 28 years ago... my wintergreen skoal had to go! Cry

As far as smoking affecting CH, there hasn't been any conclusive evidence here. The majority of the CH'ers who go to conventions smoke. I don't and it has often made me wonder if I really have CH since I don't smoke! Wink

Several members have the board have stopped smoking and have seen no beneficial effect on their CH. I think there are still a lot of doctors who think everything from CH to acne can be cured if you just quit smoking.

I was still in the "infant" stages of CH back then. I chewed through high school until about age 21. My cycles were not that bad during that period, I doubt any attack ever went above a 7. It wasn't until they got really bad in my mid 20's I finally sought medical help and was diagnosed. (at the insistence of my young bride who was convinced I had a brain tumor!) It wasn't until after I was diagnosed we started to piece together how cyclic my "really bad headaches" were during the early years.

And I just quit cold turkey. almost 30 years later my mouth still waters when someone goes by sucking on a wintergreen Certs!
