How about we replace these people with returning vets?  If they have the qualifications, they are in. If not, they receive training. Keep them on the payroll. Their cost comes from the same place as the current ones do (us). They get pay equal to the private sector to start. Standard benies, with standard insurance (80/20, 70/30).

I would think that the cost savings would offset the training costs ( if you could keep the 602,937 people that the goverment would want to run it, away).

It is is not a manditory action, and if you come back with problems/issues, or if you want to go home and run dad's farm, standard protocall applies.
