Adrenaline?

Question for some of you much more knowledgeable than I.

I was asked today by a friend whether a shot of adrenaline, such as an epi-pen, would be effective as an abortive.  The use of caffeine and taurene both stimulate the adrenal gland, so I wondered if this might be useful.  Anyone with experience or knowledge here?

I don't remember seeing anything on its usage on here before, and thought it worth putting out there.

Weird topic but I can remember being stung twice by bees (I am allergic) since I was diagnosed with ch.  One time I had a kip 10 going when I was stung.  I injected the epi pen right away.  I noticed later as an after thought, "wow,my ch went away almost as soon as I was stung/injected!" I thought it was the shock of having something happen in my life that did it more than the shot did.  Another time I was in a kip 10 and I was driving a car.  The car in front of me was hit head on by a drunk driver crossing the center line.  Ted and I were on the scence first.  We had to flag help down, call 911, wittness the jaws of life pull out the two people etc.  As an afterthought, my kip 10 became non existant as soon as the adrenialin kicked in from witnessing a terrible accident and helping out.  I am not convinced it is the epi pen as much as the shock and adrenalin rush that has the aborting qualities.  Not that I would want to submit myself to that daily to abort a ch but it is interesting thought.

I only know that adrenaline is a vaso-constrictor.  With the cumulative effects of repeated stress responses from using adrenaline would not be healthy.
