I met Val - she is a sweetie

I got to meet Val Monday 3-1-10, at a book store in Tracy. We talked for several hours but it seemed like minutes.

I drove to AZ to see my Dad & to take my daughter Cathy to her singing workshop for Honor Choir and just now uploaded the photo a kind person took of me & Val. I'm the white haired one, Val is the young one. (I'm having trouble posting the pic but I'll figure it out)

Val, it was so good to meet you.

Agreed with Christy!  Meeting Val in St. Louis was great.  We had the opportunity to take a walk to the grocery store and get to know each other a little.  She really is a sweet lady.

Was she wearing a huge parka, mittens, a wool cap and snow boots?

I've never seen someone who was so cold and could wear all this in the middle of July, in St. Louis    Grin

now that you mention it, she was wearing a jacket. I didn't find it humorous. All I noticed is that she is a wonderful person and I really enjoyed hanging out with her for a few hours.  I'm looking forward to doing it again sometime.

Had a GReaT time meeting you as well Charlotte!!!   Cool  I would Definitely be up for it another time!   Kiss  Time did fly fast, didn't it?

(And who would think that people wear jackets in air conditioning anyway... In my defense, In July in St Louis I kicked the hat and jacket outside.  It was Wonderful outside!!!  I Love it 100 degrees!!!  I have always lived in Bay Area CA where air conditioning is NOT needed, so when the hotel in St Louis turned the AC down to 65 degrees - brrrr I froze!! had no mittens or snow boots..   Roll Eyes)   Grin

Looking forward to meeting more folks in Atlanta, and seeing those of you I met in St Louis again!  Woo-hoooo   Wink
