All this time I thought that Jackie was part of the Family Services Team.. Now I find out that my dear Seester is also a Private Investigate ...

I my self didn't realize what all I do until I seen it in print...

I can't undo my Seester, Jackie's investigated work and report, but I can ask each of you to understand that by no way do I help these organizations, serve on their boards or work a second job to support them; for a pat on the back or any recognition.

I truly believe that God gave each of us a gift... and mine is the GIFT of Giving... And my rewards are the smiles, hugs, and tears that I share with those that I assist... My finances (or lack there of) do not allow me to help everyone, but I diffidently help everyone that I can...

The pennies drive was something I started 20 years ago (smile)... transportation have always been my biggest problem... so we (members of my youth group) were reaching for 1million pennies ($10,000) so we could purchase a van... Wink

...... many, many years and children later... we're still reaching... Grin

Most of these children comes from troubled homes. The community and others just threw in the towel;;; but good ole Aunt Ruthie (as they all call me) see a lot of good in each child. 80% of the children stay in touch even after they pass the groups ending age of 16... over the years, I have had 4 graduate from U of I, 2 from SIU and many more from Jr. College... of those that remained with the group - none of the girls have gotten pregnant, nor any of the boys in trouble..

I have been very Blessed and I in turn, try to Bless others...

Now, thanks to my Seester Jackie, I am totally embarrassed all to HELLO....

And this is what makes you so special. When you give so much and don't even realize that you're giving that much, then that puts you in a special category all your own. It think that it's called being truly selfless.

You are a good woman and wonderful example (and I don't care what you did in Decatur at the juke joint Wink

) or what we all should be like.
