February marked 12 years chronic. Not an anniversary to celebrate eh? Well, I have been using seeds and while they were cutting down the amount of hits I was getting, it wasn't eliminating them.
Then, back in December we took a trip to Las Vegas for New Years and had a blast. HOWEVER, I had no o2, so I just took some Frova tabs with me.
(Frova, while taking longer to activate, 'seemed' to keep the attacks far and few between.)
I hadn't used Frova since doing the seeds, but once I did - BAM! Starting getting hit 4-7-12 times a day. It was really messing with Jeff seeing me get hit so much, but he has been incredible as a supporter and told me long ago that "CH will never scare him away."
I believe him too, since he has helped me ride out some level 10's that got ugly.

Anyway, after taking Frova, the seeds stopped doing their magic. I started getting frustrated and was running through o2 like a madman. Then mid February, someone gave me some preferred busting materials (what I THOUGHT was enough for 2 doses) and after the 1st dose, got hit one major, one minor. So, I prepared for the 2nd dose, which was the bottom of the bag (and it didn't dawn on me how many of those little pinheads were in there) and got a little more than what I bargained for: a 10 hour hold-on-to-your-seat blastoff to wonderland! Luckily I was able to 'maintain' throughout, with moments of "I am way too old for this shit" interjected in between.

Since then (3rd week of February) I have been hit 3 times! Yesterday before bowling, I started shadowing. That has been going on for a week now, but no breakthroughs. So, am going to dose seeds in a couple of days in hopes it keeps the CH's away.

I am utterly convinced that ALL triptans perpetuate the CH's and are an absolute last resort - with consequences. I'll stick to o2 ONLY as an abortive from here on out.

Exactly. I also think that "one" you abort will bring along a couple of buds for later.

GO FOR IT!  It has worked for me!  seeds and O2 only and four YEARS pain free.

Yeah, Carl.  Pretty sure you're not suppose to use triptans with alternative seeds.
