The World for What it Really is
Apr 13th, 2010 at 2:33pm

I opened my eyes for the first time,
and saw the world as it really was.
The things I thought I knew,
but didn't.
And the people I thought were my friends,
but weren't.
At first the shock blew me away,
as I stared in horrid wonder.
And then it made me cry,
knowing I've lived my life in fantasy.
But now I'm on my feet again,
stronger than you've ever seen me.
I'm moving on to a better place.
I'm finally going home.
I've never been there before.
But I'll make it on my own.
Strength inside me,
strength beside me.
I take my only true friend's hand.
I won't be let down,
and I won't let go.
This is my final say and stand.

Found it, don't remember writing it but it seems like it fits. Undecided Hope you like it.

Lovelly stuff Felicia
This is a bit of one of my favourites

For oft, when on my couch I lie
In vacant or in pensive mood,
They flash upon that inward eye
Which is the bliss of solitude;
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils.

Very good!  I thouroughly enjoyed that.  I really hope you will continue to develope your talent and one day put out a book of your poetry.  I'll be happy to buy the first one if you will autograph it for me!

From a different life, but a remembered time just having to write something similar several decades ago.  Whereas not an awareness for the first time, one night seemed to confirm seemingly so.

Couple lines being:

The cost of fun was deceivably high, happiness lost value when wary, left dry.
[...]
Trials of mistrust, disgust, and it's sad, why believe in any laughs that we had.
[...]

Looks like at the time called it "What It Takes", reference to the extracting from experiences with inner disharmonics and its disturbable bearing to come further endured.

Wasn't all like that, found it not quite the world, just what it was then, but some maintained upon further chance circumstance and are distant now.
