Wow!  Spectacular photos!

I lived downwind of Mt. St. Helens when it erupted in 1980, so the pics of the ash cloud (and accumulations on the ground) are eerily familiar!

Those photos were really one of a kind, good thing that you’ve shared it with us. The eruption of Mt. Eyjafjallajokull has interrupted flights once again. The volcano re-erupted and a change of winds induced an Multimedia File Viewing and Clickable Links are available for Registered Members only!!  You need to Login or Register to stop air travel again. Luckily for travelers this time it was only overnight rather than for days. There's chatter that the volcano may erupt all over again, triggering delays in air travel yet again. If it is at all achievable, I would advise not flying into any regions suffering from this volcano until it is certain that there won't be any more activity from the volcano.
