There is some one here,
he lurks in the shadows.
No I still can't see him,
but we fight in constant battles.

It seems I can not win,
because now I lack the tools.
I feel him out there laughing,
at me like I'm the fool.

Tonight is just one night,
I'm up and can not sleep.
I want to curl up in a ball,
and like a baby start to weap.

Someday I will find a way,
to beat this evil beast.
But for now my peace of mind,
is where he chooses to feast.

It's not in my nature,
to lay down and quit.
But everytime I lose to him,
it gets harder to forget.
