Correct!  No new law SHOULD be needed.  It's already on the federal books.  But, nobody is enforcing those laws - Hell, they are ignoring those laws.

What is AZ, or any other state supposed to do when being overrun by illegal aliens (note I use the word "aliens" rather than "immigrant"), go bankrupt?  Have to cut services to their legal tax-paying citizens?  All AZ is doing is mirroring the federal law allowing their state and local police to enforce the federal law by also making it a state crime to be there illegally.

And no, they are not going to be allowed to just stop someone walking down the street just because they have dark skin.  If you commit a crime, and I don't care if it's just running a red light, and you are stopped for that crime, the officers have the authority to ask you for identification - yes, even us legal US citizens of any color.  If you aren't carrying identification, or if that identification appears suspect, you may have to prove your legal right to be in this country and may be arrested.  Gee, too bad for you.

In other words, if you don't commit a crime, you have nothing to fear. It's called "probable cause".

This should be a big wake-up call to the federal government of all persuasions.  It's their job to secure our borders and they have failed miserably.  I hope every state in the union does the same thing.

Off soap box now.

Sandy (I'm opinionated too)

'Course, back when you were Heidi and Sandra and a couple others, you were a woman.  That must have been even more uncomfortable.

The Tranquilizer Chair was invented by Dr. Benjamin Rush of the Pennsylvania Hospital. The Chair was invented to restrain violent patients. In the early 1800s Dr. Rush believed that "gaining obedience through fear helped the insane rediscover their lost reason."

Possibly, Kevin.....but maybe it was brain surgery performed on the head while up the butt.  Very delicate procedure I'm sure....

You ever take a bullet to the head?  Hurts.

Nope, never taken a bullet to the head but have had two brain surgeries.  You ever had brain surgeries?  Wait... you had DBS.  I guess that constitutes brain surgery, huh?
