Troll debating aside...

as I was driving past Home Depot this morning I noticed at least 30 guys loitering out front on the sidewalk awaiting day labor jobs.  Usually there are only about 15 guys.  Hope this is not the beginning of the overflow coming from AZ to Las Vegas.

They may only have been there to get their wallets stolen.

Have you already forgotten when you wanted to meet in Nottingham? I think that was when you were kopfshmerz which was different to klusterkopf and about the same time as Heidi.

It must be hard to remember though, you've had more incarnations than a skunk has fleas. We've sniffed you out as easily every time too. It's not fair I know. We're a bunch of big ol meanies.

I have a feeling that this is only the beginning...."Tens of thousands of people have joined protests in the US against a controversial anti-immigration law introduced in Arizona."

This post has been getting more and more racist as it continues.  "Those people" are trying to get work-at most minimum wage, no benefits.  How many white guys were standing in line?  You didn't mention that and the answer is zero.  You don't know their immigration status nor do you say anything about the white bosses that hire them.  I'm sure that those immigrants all have luxury homes and several Lincolns and Cadillacs. Be careful, by2050 the majority of Americans will be of Hispanic origin-you or your descendants going to leave for another country then?

And you are drawing a conclusion without knowing what the poster is referring to.   Did Las Vegas specifically say that those men were Mexican?  You do understand what the word *assume* can mean?

Majority of Americans will be of Hispanic origin?  Would those be actual citizens of this country or jus the Hispanic race in general?

I do not think it is a bit racist at all to want people living and working in this country, utilizing services such as police, fire, healthcare etc, to do so legally. Whether it is by being born a citizen, naturalized a citizen, or living as a legal alien.

I think Arizona has guts to be the first to do something about it. Will this inconvience citizens and legal aliens who are of foreign descent? Yes. That's unfortunate. But will it help keep their state able to pay for the services they provide because the people using them will be legally working and paying taxes. And will their classrooms be able to return to teaching in English. Maybe then our teachers can focus on educating all children the same way, rather than having children who speak 30 different languages that hold back the education of all. Perhaps then our companies won't need to send all the high-tech jobs off-shore.

If that makes me a racist, then bring on the stones.

This is not a racist posting nor are any of the postings within this thread racist.  This is unfortunate that we Americans have a border that is not being enforced; resulting in illegals sneaking into our country and bleeding our resources that American taxpayers provide.

Regardless of race, if they are legal citizens, they are illegally working day labor jobs because they are not paying taxes on their income.  Local police regularly stop people in their vehicles after they pickup a day laborer and fine the driver.

If they are illegal, they are not citizens and have no right to work in the USA at all.

My posting was to show the coincidence of timing that the # of guys out front have doubled in a week since SB 1070 was signed, which makes me believe this is more than a coincidence.

Interesting article on Mexico"s immigration policy.

Good reasons why Mexican president Felipe Calderon should just STFU.
