What a waste of time and energy this thing is.

Ed Murrow was right. Television is a distraction rather than something serious. Mostly it keeps us paying attention to everything but reality. As Howard Beal said: TV is an amusement park, a carnival of whatever keeps your attention away from reality. It's not real...you people are reality.

He also said that woe is us if the big corporations ever get control of it. They have and radio too. Radio is even worse. It's more boring than TV.

Little known fact in flag protocol:  Texas is the ONLY state to enter the U.S. by TREATY instead of annexation. This ALLOWS the TEXAS Flag to be flown at the same height as the U.S. Flag. But it's the ONLY state in the UNION with that distinction.

And the WORD TEXAS comes from the Hasini INDIAN word "tejas' meaning "friends".  TEJAS is NOT Spanish for Texas!

So if the Mexicans want to fly their flags and celebrate THEIR damn holidays and get RESPECT for their damn CULTURE -- Get the hell back to THEIR country and have a Blast!!

But I'm an American and a Texan and I don't give a rat's ass about THEIR culture or their crap!
