No Texas culverts for me, thank you.

I've heard that jumping into a culvert could be a good way to survive a tornado when trapped in the open.

I believe I will rethink that idea if such a thing ever happens to me in Texas.

These photos of little culvert surprises uncovered during repairs were allegedly taken by Texas Power and Light crews:

(P.S.--got this in a forwarded e-mail, so I'm not going to vouch for accuracy.  It succeeded in putting me in a thoughtful frame of mind, however.)

Best,

George

Well the pictures are authentic, but they appear to not be related.

Thing I want to know, though, is who had the 'nads to duct-tape the gator's mouth shut?  I'd like to shake his hand--presuming he still has one.

Best,

George

What does that gator eat to make it so huge?

Not many stray zebras down there, cattle rustling?
