A Bit In Shock
May 24th, 2010 at 8:01pm

It seems like it's all been death lately....

I tore me up yesterday to read of the 24 year old who ended his life because of clusters. It ate at me all day.

I go to do my show last night, and the harddrive starts clicking and freaking out. Come to find out, it is failing - a 1.5terrabyte Seagate with 810gig of music, including 9'200 albums. So, I'm thinking this is the worst thing imaginable that can happen. While we are trying to get this drive mirrored onto another to save the data...

I get a message forwarded to me by my brother whom I've not spoke to in a year due to a family falling out. It was to let me know that my Uncle Chuck passed away at 10pm last night. He has been battling stomache cancer for some time and, though he seemed to be doing 'alot better' he went downhill this weekend. It hit me quite hard, and am still in a bit of shock.

I don't have the faith to pray anymore. I try to but I just can't believe. However I would greatly appreciate it if some of you who do pray could do so for my family at this time.

Peace,
Carl

Seems there are a few of us that have had the same kind of week, Carl.

Prayers on the way for you and yours, my friend.

Hugs
