He will be missed. He was 97.  I watched him as a kid.  Loved Mr. Greenjeans too.

I used to watch him too.  Gentle, funny stuff--not ham-fisted and noisy like so much humor that's currently fashionable.  Different days.

Mr. Green Jeans used to play a full-sized bass viol sideways like a guitar. I always thought that was pretty cool.

I didn't even reaiize I went to school where he was born in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan.   

Its a REAL place that gangstas used to go to...
