The situation with the oil in the gulf that is.

Hurricane season is upon us.  What happens if a major hurricane forms in the gulf while all that oil is still out there?   Can you imagine a 15' wave of oil washing over the coastline (I"m including any of the Gulf Sstates here).  What happens if that hurricane picks that oily water up and deposits it further inland?

I don't foresee this situation getting any better any time soon.  I just hope that mother nature does not throw a hissy fit and start spawing storms off the coast of Africa.

BTW, in case anybody missed it, we've already had our first tropical storm (named) before the season even began.

Scary, and I heard that this is going to be tougher than usual season too....at least in the Atlantic.

Politics aren't going to plug a hole at depths where equipment is straining under more than a ton of pressure per square inch.

With an oil leak a mile below the surface in the Gulf of Mexico, it's the laws of physics are largely in control.
