This young man stood at attention for over 3.5 hours.

Joe, the man is a Marine, NOT a soldier!  He was not on orders.  He did that on his own time in honor of his fellow Marines who had given their lives.  He has done this now for six years and also when "Ride for the Wall" and "Carry the Torch" ride.

Here is a video of him telling his story.  I'm proud to know my sons are in the same organization!

Thanks so much for the other links.  I'm so glad we still have a great number of people who still get it, but I wish our media would report that instead of all the other stuff they report.  A story like this should be the lead every Memorial Day.  Not for SSgt Chambers benefit, but in honor of those he is honoring.  The generation who didn't get a welcome home.
