Brand of regulator tu buy for M tank?
Jul 3rd, 2010 at 12:21am

I'm having an "M" tank delivered tomorrow, but it only comes with an 8 lmp flow.  (With insurance, my DME tells me that the co-pay on the oxygen for an "m" tank will be less than 5 dollars -- sweet.   What's the best brand of high-flow regulator (12-20?) to buy?

I don't even know what the brands of my 3 regulators are! You will just need to make sure it's designed to screw on to an M tank, as they are different from the E-Tanks. The oxygen info link has pics that show you the difference.

I was in luck!  The guy who delivered the tank happened to have a high flow regulator in his truck and he let me have it.  NOW, all in need is a good rebreather mask, and it is on the way.  How crazy is this?:  I cut the corner off a medium-size trash bag, taped the 02 line into the corner, let it fill up with 02, and was then able to take deep breaths from the scrunched up top of the bag. Seems to work until the "real" mask gets here from DJ!

Just so other newbies aren't confused, it's a non-rebreather mask you're getting.
