Would be great to meet you in person. Have yet to meet a person at a convention who said dang I wish I hadn't come! Grin

Only other warning on prednisone is each time I'd go off of it my back would break out with acne like a 15 year old! Smiley

Ahh, that explains what is happening to me. I've put on a few kilos and my face is covered in acne. Sad

At least I now know that this should only be temporary.

It isn't quite what I'd wish for if I was to be a teenager again! But then I'd swap just about anything to get rid of CHs.

Just finished my prednisone a few days ago, appears to have helped with this cycle.

This new neuro gave me Ativan (sp?) to counter the insomnia and had me get Zantac (Ranitidine) for the heartburn. Still gained 5 lbs in 2 weeks which was wonderful.

I'm down to 40mg today -- Three more days of prednisone to go!  I feel like I look heavier, but just weighed myself and don't seem to have gained weight.  I'm still getting 1-2 CH a day, though, and haven't had enough sleep.  I've got some mild tranquilizers on hand, but already feel too full of chemicals and chemical reactions.  Not sure if it is the reduction of prednisone, but my head feels kind of "whooshy" today, like a head rush when I move a certain way ("well, don't move that way, Jim!").  I got my new 02ptimask today -- I don't really look forward to having to use it tonight....

I just took my last day of prednisone, it seems like the headaches are fading but I can still feel the dull pain for a few minutes acouple times a day. I have terrible withdrawal symptoms as soon as I start decreasing the dosage. Hope it helps  Undecided
