That's fabulous news, Kate. Now you've got to have a beer for all our CMates who can't.

Time to get back to normal huh Kate? Enjoy the PF time.

Hum. Once I've decided I'm out of cycle, it still takes about a week to get it out of my mind, and move on.
One things for sure tho, next time I'll have plenty of o2 on hand, thanks to this forum. Smiley

Thanks guys!  And yes, 02 is a winner - wouldn't go a cycle without it ever again!

Congratulations, Kate! One question though, apart from being ugly, taking up space, and in general being a reminder of unhappier timess...why get rid of the tank? OK, my wife hates the big green thing too. Prayers your way for a pf life, not simply just skipping a cycle! Wink lance

Great news Kate!  Hope you will hang around and help encourage the rest of us.  Hearing form those of you who are out of cycle is very encouraging to the rest of us.  It also helps keep you up to date on new stuff too.

Ditto all of the above.  I also ask, why get rid of the tank?  I have a lovely ugly green rusty looking tank with regulator, mask and bubbler just sitting in a closet gathering dust.  But she's there the second I need her and I don't have to wait for a delivery.

Just askin

The reason I return the tank is because it's just expensive!!  I am on a disability pension (very low income!) so any, any extra expense puts pressure on my ability to provide for my son  Undecided  (we are on our own - no financial support from the father)

And Jerry yes I will hang around during my off cycle time - although I have to say in the past I have had the same attitude as you mentioned in a different thread.  There was no way I wanted to think about CH when I was out of cycle because I found it frightening.  However over the last year or so I've found my cycles easier to manage, thus less scary - and for that reason I do find it easier to be a part of the ongoing discussion.  I realise there are a lot of more informed, articulate folk here, but every now and then I do try to offer support and encouragement to newbies.

Thanks again for all your responses!!

No prob!  I've encouraged others to hang around as well.  I've found your posts to be helpful and encouraging, so I know having you stay around will be helpful to the newbies.  Sometimes some of us who have been around longer forget somewhat the feeling of first finding this place and are not as helpful as we could be.  I know I tend to get that attitude at times and try to guard against it.  We do have a couple of folks who have been around for years although they have been PF for years, and I really appreciate them.  Hopefully you will join their company.

It don't matter , just a supportive word can mean the world to people or even the fact that they got a response can make people feel so much better .

God bless

I was about to echo some of the others in...Why would you return the tanks?   Then I saw where you live and I would imagine that things are done a lot differently there than they are here.  We only pay for each tank.  If I had a full one sitting around for a year (I wish) till I was in cycle again (again, I wish)  I would have it at the ready and not have to wait for a delivery.

Happy you are at the end.
