I had been giving $30 for 25 lpm E tank regs with DISS fittings.....

These guys Multimedia File Viewing and Clickable Links are available for Registered Members only!!  You need to Login or Register are getting 19.95 plus shipping for a new in the box 25lpm regulator with DISS fittings. I have purchased from them just last week with no problems. Just FYI.

Thats certainly the best price I've seen. Shipping fees ruin most of my US orders, despite the fact that USP has cheap and easy international boxes. Go figure.

I've gotten auto parts from private deals, and paid $11 shipping through US Post, yet most ebayers and others want $30 or more to put your order in a $11 box, and write the word Canada.  Sad

There's getting fewer and fewer of them now though.

It's the fitting you use for a demand valve. The regs have the normal hook up and the PTO for demand valves too.

Bill,

All I saw there was an adapter for transfilling from a large tank to a small one.  I need an adapter to use an E tank regulator on an M tank, or a regulator for at least 25 lpm for an M tank.  I've not been able to find one without having to mortgage the house.  Any input?

Unless I miss my guess, the following will do as you wish.....
Quote:
TA-870-P Transfill Adapter
Allow the connection of CGA-870 (medical-style post valve) cylinders and devices to connect to CGA-540 cylinders and devices. The TA-870-P does the reverse of the TA-870-Y.

That is a male threaded end coming out of the regulator that I connect my Christmas tree (green) looking barb fitting with a swivel female DISS thread.  I then attach the hose onto the barb end.  I have the DISS fitting on my CGA-540 reg. that I use for my "M" tank.  My other reg. (CGA-870) on my "E" tank has a small fitting for the tubing, but it is not a DISS  fitting.

Here is some quick info on DISS (Diameter Index Safety System).

Wow that is so cheap!  I bought one last night on ebay, paid $126 Aus.  It is a lot but will work out cheaper than paying rental twice a year!
