About 12 years ago, I had a bout with shingles and I recall my head went a bit haywire with increased activity for about 2 months.

Is there any research out there that could shed some light if there might be a connection?

I'm getting the tingles and itchies across my back again. Last time the rash skated across the left shoulder blade and down my arm to my fingers. (Left side CH too)

Just curious...if there is nothing, that would be great news.

Hi Pegg,

I can't speak from Bob's expertise or his sources, but when I was in Atlanta I talked with Dr Matharu about connections with auto-immune disorders and he told me there had been no connections made between the two although it had been looked into. I tend to break out with Psoriasis just before going into high cycle, but there seems to be no medical correlation.

Here's hoping it is just a rash from something coming on and not shingles though. That is nothing pleasant to deal with.

Last time it was pretty painful and it wasn't in the trunk area thank goodness. I'm hoping that this time it takes the same path along the nerves down the arm. My sister in law had the outbreaks in the trunk area and .....well lets suffice to say...I can't really go around with the girls loose because a bra is a no go.
