Does this happen to anyone else?
Aug 29th, 2010 at 10:16pm

Hi my name is Dan. I have had CH since I was 16 . I'm 35 now. After my last episode whicjh was one of the worst ever(3 months) I had a twitch in my left eye for the next 6 months. I also would occasionally see a spot floating around in there. It was embarrassing to me because I could swear that people could see my eye start twitching when I was talking to them although I am not sure they could. I think it was inside my eye so not all  that detectable. However i would be selfconsious about it and so i would end the conversations rather abruptly. I ma sure a lot of people thought it was weird or rude that I would just end the conversations like that but it was very unnerving. Please rply if this has ever happened to you or just please reply.Sincerely Clusterhead in Minnesota

Dan - Sometimes I get an ever so imperceptible twitch in the corner or lower lid of my right eye. Funny thing is, I get hit exclusively on the left side.

I've only had what you are describing when I am totally stressed about something.  (Not CH)

I get eye twitches when I'm stressed, and I'm the supporter, not the one with CH.  Eye twitches from stress are pretty common, so anyone you're talking to has probably experienced it themselves.

That said, it's interesting you mention this, because Gary (the one with CH) started getting eye twitches with many of his attacks about a month ago, and they'll last past the attack, but usually not for long.

He's not episodic though, he's chronic, so he does a lot of ending conversations rather abruptly.   Sad

I'm episodic and in cycle I get that eye lid twitching on the affected side...to the point it's annoyingly itchy/tickly!

Hi Dan,

I get the twitchy eye but not just in cycle.  Been getting it for years, usually when it happens I load up on vegies and it goes away - sounds silly but works for me.

Hi Dan:

I get twitches now and then that last for several weeks. It has nothing to do with CH however. I suspect my being 64 has something to do with it.
