Print the PDF file for your doc.

Pill form is generally too slow acting for CH.

Oxygen works faster than any pill or spray.

Maybe check out clusterbusters.com alternatives (the link is on the left side of your screen), I've been told they are extremely cost effective, that is if that's a path you can take.

melatonin  pros...cheap, no side effects, stops nite time attacks for many, cons some people report waking up grogggy.....

Verapamil, pros, a very popular prevent, works well for many at reducing attacks. Cons, constipation, lower blood pressure, erectile disfunction....elvis will return as soon as you go off.

Imitrex pills will generally take too long to get into your system. 02 is cheaper and as effective as imitrex injeactables for me.

I have found Kudzu to be an excellent alternative to Verap if you don't tolerate it well.  I don't have the side effects with Kudzu.  The only drawback is that it is over the counter, so you can't get a script for it.

A Trex tab will usually work for me in about 15 minutes.  I'd take a trex tab and then jump on the O2.  The O2 will abort fast and the trex will keep the attack from coming back.
With 100mg tabs, you can break them in half and have enough to abort 4 attacks/day.

Of all the preventatives, verapamil is the least troublesome IMO. Far  more manageable side effects than prednisone, lithium or topamax

I only ever use the trex pills as a nightime preventative on occasions.   Taken before bed will guarantee me a good night sleep.

Verap, pretty good stuff. Lithium....works well for me except some stomach issues with it

melatonin.....alot of people swear by it.  I have taken it but not sure if it helped at all. Cheap enough to give it a try
