Baby update
Sep 19th, 2010 at 12:09am

Just had another ultrasound - my son (who, from the pictures, is VERY proud of being a boy) is currently 2.5lbs and measuring over a week ahead in size.

Good deal.

Just need to keep him cooking awhile longer...

Unfortunately, am now on modified bed rest.  I can get up for a hour or so a couple times a day but otherwise I have to recline or lay down.

Needless to say, I'm off work until the bambino arrives.  Due date in very early Dec - so I have at least another couple of months of laying on my butt...  I'm going to go NUTS...

That's great news to hear.

Enjoy the rest before he arrives as you'll no doubt be getting a bit less sleep then!

Oh do I sympathize with you.  I was on bedrest from my 4th month on with twins.  I couldnt even get out of bed to use the bathroom without having contractions.  However, I did carry them full term and everything worked out great!  I will pray that everything goes well for you and your baby.

How exciting!!  Sorry to hear you are having some complications - but on the bright side enjoy the rest... once he arrives you will never have the luxury of being bored again  Roll Eyes  My son came 7.5 weeks early - totally unprepared - but thankfully he was fine.

Keep us updated  Smiley

Thank you all, both for your encouragement and for your supportive words!   Smiley

Linda - yes, it would totally stink for getting hit, but thankfully, haven't had a hit in 3ish weeks.  Am in the process of weaning down on the Verapamil - currently on 80mg twice per day.

God bless CH PF days for all of us!
