David,  I just went through and read all 24 of your posts here and not once did you mention anything about a list of foods to avoid, so I can't help you with that.

I can only speak for myself here & some others who have reported the same thing...Foods do not play a factor in triggerig a CH.

If you consider alcohol to be a food, avoid that.

For myself and many others, alcohol is a major trigger, but no foods are.

CH according to Bejeeber:

Strictly relying on doctors for CH treatment is often a prescription that will keep you in a whole lot of PAIN. Doctors are WAY behind in many respects, and they are usually completely unaware of the benefits of high flow 100% O2.

There are lots of effective treatments documented at this site. Take matters into your own hands, learn as much as you can here and at clusterbusters.com, put it into practice, then tell this CH beast Jeebs said hello right before you bash him so hard with a swift uppercut knockout punch that his stupid horns go flinging right off.

Triggers

Nitroglycerin (glyceryl trinitrate) can sometimes induce cluster headaches in sufferers in a manner similar to spontaneous attacks. Ingestion of alcohol or chocolate or banana are recognized as a common trigger of cluster headaches when a person is in cycle or susceptible. Exposure to hydrocarbons (petroleum solvents, perfume) is also recognized as a trigger for cluster headaches. Lahore or 'chinese salt' (monosodium glutamate) is nearly always a trigger of migraines in patients. Sexual frustration, sex or orgasms may trigger cluster headaches in some patients. Some patients have a decreased tolerance to heat, and becoming overheated may act as a trigger which may explain the occurrence after aerobic exercise. Napping causes a headache for some sufferers, while for others lack of sleep triggers them. The role of diet and specific foods in triggering cluster headaches is controversial and not well understood.

I try not to eat cured meats or hot dogs when I'm in cycle.

Triptans cause increased number of hits and increased intensity.  Learn it, believe it, live it.  I use triptans as the absolute LAST RESORT when treating my CH.&&

cured meats or meats with Nitrites or Nitrates can trigger me, but I know of no other food triggers.  Aspertame can also be an issue if I drink diet drinks.

I've had trouble with licorice but I really think I've had just as much difficulty when chewing anything that requires vigorous mastication. That's "chewing" for the uninitiated. If I'm in a particular touchy part of a cycle, even gum can kick off a hit. But I don't think it's the product so much as the act of moving my jaw up and down. lance

Hello,

I tend to stay away from any products that have MSG.
Also anything that over salted makes my bp rise, and i noticed hits came those nights.

P.S. Never scream out HELP like you did, It tends to make me beleive your a victim.
