Aura / Shadows Symptoms

I am on the tail end of what I think is my fall cycle.  I experienced something last night that I'd like help in deciphering.

I was eating dinner and talking with my wife and I felt as if my ears felt full and my eyes had a dificult time focusing.  I started to get that ever familar feeling of something pulling on my eyes from within.  It was subtle but there.  There was pressure in my temples but in the center of my brain not out towards my temples.  Like where my temples meet in the center of my brain.  My eyes got pretty red, my wife noticed that and she told me to go ahead and take somehting to pinch it off befre it starts to get bad.  (She is great about that)

I never got bad and a torodol and a oxycodone (5mg) and a phinerigin allowed me to sleep the night through.

So, my question is this.  Is this a shadow?  or is the shadow the constant pain that I feel?  It sort of feels like I'm always on the verge of a bad headache but it never kicks in, like waiting for the second shoe to drop...  But it never does.

Hi Pat,

A shadow is the constant pain that just lingers on and on.

Welcome and I hope you have many PF hours just around the corner!
