Weather Impact?
Oct 27th, 2010 at 6:59pm

The storm that swept across over half of the nation yesterday brought with it the lowest barometric pressure ever recorded in history, according to different news reports I saw today.  Knowing the seasonal nature of CH, different triggers, some being weather factors, it seems like a once in a lifetime opportunity to see if anyone noticed an unusal change in their CH symptoms over the past 24 hours, that may be related to barometric pressure changes.  I know it affected me with an unrelated disorder.  Anybody?

Never tied it together before.  I'll have to pay attention.  Today was an absolute mess.  Got hit back to back all day long.  Never above a K5, but one would end and another would hit within minutes.

I am out of cycle right now but we also were part of this storm system and when the barometric pressure dropped I got a lot of shadows that turned into lower end hits. I have talked to a few others that experienced the same thing!
Curious to see what happens when the bar. pressure rises...

I was shadowing just before the low pressure hit, but as it was moving through, I was OK.  I'm not in cycle right now.

Changes in barometric pressure is the only thing that makes me shadow out of cycle!

Still pf here too, except for the random monthly ch that 02 takes care of (stress).

Hubby has been excited about the low pressure system moving thru here.  The crappie have been biting like crazy!! (and they were delicious!)  Grin

Hate to hear that the weather has been wrecking havoc with others and causing the beast to return.  Sad

pf wishes everyone!

Sorry you got hit so hard Jerry...hope today was a better day.

Glad for the most part it didn't wreak havoc on the majority.  Interesting stuff though... Hubby no worse, no better....coming off a pred taper and changed work schedules, that'll do it everytime.  Next week marks month 6  Cry

That sounds awesome!  Thanks for the fishing tip!  We won't have many more of those days left before old man winter shows up!

Wishing peace and wellness to all...

I just started a cycle on Monday and thought it may be weather related (barometric pressure?). Unfortunately, never tracked that in the past.

I used to think there was a correlation with mine but they've changed so much over that past few years I don't think so anymore. I've given up trying to figure these damn things out. There's no logic to them. And, more often than not, they are in control.
