CH and Thyroid?
Oct 27th, 2010 at 7:46pm

It's been almost a year since my last cycle. I thought that maybe they'd gone... in that same time, I was hyper-thyroid because a thyroid nodule (I called it Rambo) had taken over all thyroid function. We killed Rambo off and now I'm on Synthroid for the rest of my life it seems... and the clusters are back as of tonight.  Any of you have thyroid issues? How did that effect the CH?

While I've heard of people experiencing a change in CH due to thyroid issues, my personal experience has been that it didn't make much difference at all one way or the other. I had hope that it might change for the better....but alas.....nada.

For what it's worth, I noticed more change after starting testosterone replacement than anything my thyroid did....or didn't do.

Husband had radiation treatment for hyperthyroidism years ago, hmm, my senior year at UT, so that would be '03. But his headaches started years before that.

Just watch any zinc you take with the synthroid- it can interfere with it. Thats the only tidbit I have to offer- I don't think it plays a role in his headaches that we can see.
