Could use some positive vibes and good thoughts
Nov 13th, 2010 at 12:12am

My black lab has a fast growing, large, non cancerous tumor growing under his front leg, side, stomach.  It is about the size of a basketball and is interfering with his walk.  He turns 12 in Jan.  On Nov. 30 he is having surgery to remove the tumor.  If you could keep Charlie my lab in your thoughts and my family we would greatly appreciated it.  We are all very torn about this decision because of his age.  He is perfectly healthly otherwise.  Thanks so much!

It seems almost trivial to pray about a dog, but God is interested in our trivialities.  Besides that, dogs become far more to a family than a triviality.  I'm praying about it right now.

Aawww, that's gut wrenching...been there with our Golden we almost lost last year.  He's truly a member of family, goes on vacation with us, out on the boat with us on the weekends..the whole nine yards.  I didn't get it...the attachment people had to their pets..until this beautiful beast came into our lives.  Praying for a positive outcome for your Charlie...

Amazing how a stupid dog can become such an ingrained part of your family.  Cry Keeping you both in our prayers.

Good thoughts from here too.

Labs are great. They make friends by putting their paw right on your head when you're sitting down. Love 'em.

All the luck in the world.

Smiley  We had a beautiful lab when I was growing up, pure joy.  Dogs are such a special part of our families.  Good luck Charlie!  Wishing you, your family and Charlie all the very best and keeping you in my thoughts.

You feed me when I'm hungry,
You keep water in my dish,
You let me sleep on anything,
Or in any place I wish.

You sometimes let me lick your hands,
Or even lick your face,
Despite the fact I've licked myself
In every private place.

You taught me how to come when called,
You taught me how to sit,
You always let me go outside
So I can take a ...........stroll.

I've been with you through oh, so much,
Through laughter and through tears,
I hope you live to be a hundred......
(that's 700 in doggy years!).
