Prayers for Safe Return...
Nov 16th, 2010 at 6:37am

I know I'm just being a worried mom here but...

My son and his Girlfriend are going for their 1st road trip since he got his drivers license.  They are going to Harrisburg today so Ty can take his Grad School Test.

A few extra prayers for his safe trip there and back would be much appreciated.

Moms a nervous wreck...  Cheesy

You got it Ginger!  I know exactly how you feel since my daughter just got her drivers license 3 weeks ago. Smiley

That damned drivers license is sure a double edged sword! They can finally drive themselves everywhere......but the sleepless nights waiting for them to come home Undecided   yikes!

I'm sure they'll be fine, Ginger.  Praying for a safe trip and your peace of mind.

Been there, done that, got the gray hair to prove it...thank goodness for Clairol!   Oldest took a road trip to Florida for spring break last year...yikes!  Didn't sleep for a week...so I feel your pain Ginger.  Sending prayers your way..I'm sure he'll be fine...have his girlfriend text you along the way.  Best investment ever?  GPS!

I feel for you Ginger.  I'm not able to relax every time they go out for the first 6 months.  If anything happens in that time this period extends to a full year.

BTDT  Glad to hear they made it back safe and sound.  Smiley

I let Jackie (she was 16) drive to Chicago last year and that probably wouldn't have happened if she were not my youngest (stuff doesn't phase mom as much 3rd go around) and that she is not afraid of driving anywhere.  Looking back on it, I can't believe I let her go.

No better feeling than that sigh of relief when the kiddies pull into the drive.
